- Material and product formCarbon, alloy or stainless steel; identify the grade, heat and component form. A182 F316L forged flanges and A403 WP316L wrought fittings have different product specifications.
- Forming and machiningForging, ring rolling or fitting forming follow the component route. CNC operations control bores, faces, hubs, bolt circles and weld-end geometry against the drawing.
- Inspection and traceabilityDimensional records, material certificates and specified weld, pressure or functional checks use agreed acceptance criteria and witness or hold points.
